Thanks to the Associated Press and their in depth and continuing investigation, we've learned a lot about the NYPD and their monitoring activities since they began publishing the information last August. What we've learned is that the police department was monitoring the Muslim community but it didn't stop there. The most recent revelation is that the NYPD also monitored left leaning political groups, and stepped way outside their bounds, Jordan Flaherty, New Orleans-based journalist and author recently found out that he was the target of this surveillance.
