"Ten days in Paris", released in June 1940 was directed by Tim Whelan and starred Rex Harrison in a fast moving spy melodrama. The film co-starred German born actress Kaaren Verne in her film debut, along with other familiar faces in supporting roles including Leo Genn and Andre Morrell. Be warned that the fast paced story will demand full attention in order to keep up with the numerous plot twists!
Hopefully this film is being preserved somewhere, but no print is held by the BFI and it has been unseen for many years other than a rare screening on BBC tv one weekday afternoon in the early 1990s. No VHS or dvd release has been issued.
"Ten days in Paris" was originally protected by the Copyright Acts of 1911 and 1956. Copyright in the UK expired in 1989 and the film is presented here for research purposes only.
